I'm working with an injury, do I qualify for workers' compensation?

To qualify for workers compensation benefits, there has to be a relationship between your work and your injury.  You may qualify for workers compensation benefits even if you are working,  if you suffer a loss of wages due to a work-related injury.  That is, if you are loosing overtime, loosing any portion of your wages, or at risk for loosing wages because your hours or duties are limited by the effects of an injury that was caused or aggravated by work activity or by an accident at work, you have valuable rights under the Act.

If you are in any way restricted due to symptoms that your work activities my have aggravated, or which may be being aggravated day to day because of the work you do, you have valuable rights under the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act.  I will fight to protect and advance those rights.

Even if your work injury does not result in loss of any wages, or hasn't to date, you are entitled to the payment of medical expense benefits, from presrcriptions right on up to and beyond major surgery, if your injury is work related.  But in most instances, you will only get these benefits of the law if you understand your rights and you stand up for them, ideally with the advice and guidance of an experienced workers' compensation attorney.
